The purpose of the Consent Made Simple series is to provide examples of positive examples of consent being properly observed from a variety of different situations and viewpoints. In this episode, we have a couple sitting on a bed at home. One person wants to expand their experience so they ask their partner if they have any interest in checking out a fetish club. As it turns out, their partner has actually been to such events before and enjoyed them. They agree to check it out together.Â
We never know what our partner will be open to until we ask. Keeping communication open is a good way to ensure that the relationship stays on solid ground. It also makes it easier for us to open up and talk about things we wish to explore but may be nervous about bringing up.Â
